Within ten days after final inspection, the building official shall approve the work and subsequently release the applicant’s security or disapprove the work and give notice to the applicant stating what corrections will be required. Any work not constructed or if the applicant does not correct the deficient work within thirty days, the city shall forfeit the applicant’s security and proceed to correct such deficiencies.
