13.12.150 Blowoff and exhaust steam--Direct connection prohibited.

It is unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to cause, suffer, allow or permit the exhaust from any engine or blow off from any broiler to be connected directly to any public sewer of the city or house connection sewer leading thereto, but such exhaust or blow off shall first connect with a watertight sump which may in turn be connected to the public sewer.
