In all ordinances, resolutions and sections of the Wasco city code where the words "city clerk," "clerk," "city treasurer" or "treasurer" are used pertaining to any finance or accounting duties, or to the issuance of any licenses or permits, or the collection of any fees, the words shall be read and construed to be and mean "director of finance" and to that extent, all said ordinances, resolutions and sections of the Wasco city code are amended to read as if the term "director of finance" were used.

Nothing in this chapter shall be construed to be a transfer of the statutory functions of the city clerk to the director of finance except as hereinabove specifically set forth. (Ord. 463 §1, 2002).
