It is unlawful for any person to fire or discharge any gun, pistol, airgun, spring gun, slingshot or instrument, or other thing commonly used or which may be used for propelling or throwing any shot, bullet, rock, stone, pebble or other missile within the city. (Ord. 42 §1, 1949).
