A. If it is determined by the fire marshal/building official/code enforcement officer or other city official or their authorized representative ("Responsible Official"), that a public nuisance, as designated in Sections 8.24.030 and 8.24.040 of this chapter, exists on any lot or premises in the city or upon any sidewalk, parking area or street adjacent to such lot or premises, the responsible official or his or her authorized representative shall cause a notice to be issued to abate such nuisance. Such notice shall be headed: "NOTICE TO CLEAN PREMISES" in legible characters, direct the abatement of the nuisance and refer to this chapter for particulars.

B. All properties determined to be an immediate health and safety risk pursuant to Section 8.24.030(B) shall be subject to immediate citation pursuant to Chapter 1.20, and/or immediate abatement by the city pursuant to Section 8.24.090. (Ord. 709 §1, 2020; Ord. 494 §2 (Exh. B), 2005).
